Train Summary
The spray train consists of the following rolling stock:
- The Control coach – RIV approved
- The Staff/Living coach – RIV approved
- Two 50,000 litre RIV approved VTG stainless steel water tankers
The Control Coach
The control coach contains:
- The computer room where the operation of the machine is controlled
- Herbicide & adjuvant room
- Pump room containing spray modules
- Generator providing auxiliary power
The Staff Living Coach
The staff / living coach contains:
- Three single bedrooms
- One double bedroom
- Dining area
- Kitchen
The Water Tankers
Two 50,000 litre tankers offer up to 500 miles spray range on full swath:
- 2” pipe work supplying water to the Control coach
- Isolator valves allow tanks to be used independently
- Fluid level meters update the computer systems
