Weedfree complete over 4000 shifts during a 14 week period. Our ground crew fill the specially made trains with water and fuel along with being involved with the day to day maintenance of the train.
The Weedfree train operators then ride out on the train and control the high pressure water jetters to keep the running rail clear of leaves and other dirt which helps keep trains running at full service both passenger and freight. |

Weedfree work on both the MPV trains and the RHTT trains during the Autumn season. Our operators are trained for both specialised vehicles.
The MPV is a Multi Purpose Vehicle that has modules for different seasons. The RHTT is a Rain Head Treatment Train that is used in Autumn. |
